WESCO partners with AEU (Amateur Esports Union) to stablish businesses opportunities on Digital Sports, educational, online/offline events and virtual sports (F1, Basketball, Cycling, Triathlon, Golf and much more.
Based in USA, and recently founded to promote amateur esports and other businesses within the digital sports, the team of AEU came to Brasil as guests of WESCO and CBDEL, to sign an agreement between the two organizations, and to put CBDEL as the first national organization to have the benefits of this partnership. It is a long term partnership to explore not only the events of an online and offline competitions, but to engage with virtual sports and it's market, and most specifically to adapt digital sports courses coming from WESCO to the ecosystem of AEU not only in the USA but all over the world. The group visited the Olympic Park and other facilities where the first CBDEL's National Championships and Summits are going to happen on 2022.
The meeting was held in Rio de Janeiro, where not only the C-Levels members of AEU were all together, but the official Chinese representative from China Electronic Commerce Chamber (CECC - partner, member and sponsor of WESCO), and China University Esports League (partner, member of WESCO), Mr. Kenneth Chang (who is also Global Vice President of WESCO - ASIA), as well as Mrs. Sonia Kim, CEO of Beverly Hills Design Institute (partner and member of WESCO, responsible for uniforms and digital sports life style wear), and members of the C-Level from CBDEL and WESCO. The famous NBA player, Maurice Harkless was present and he became one of the international Ambassadors of Digital Sports for WESCO, side by side with other celebrities from sports, tv and other categories.
